Privacy Policy
How Tre-Up handles your data.
Tre-Up is an iOS app in development; it has not launched. This policy covers the website tre-up.com, the early access list and the Pursue Signal Preview. The app will have its own policy before launch.
Effective 8 October 2026 · Updated 9 October 2026
In short
- We collect very little: an email address if you join early access, and coded check-in answers if you take part in the Pursue Signal Preview.
- We do not sell your data. Not personal, not anonymous, not pooled.
- We count visits with Google Analytics. No advertising trackers, and nothing is used for ads.
- You can see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to company@tre-up.com.
Who is responsible for your data
Tre-Up is not yet incorporated. The data controller (in Turkish law, veri sorumlusu) is Yiğit Ali Kurt, the founder, who operates Tre-Up from Istanbul, Türkiye.
Contact for anything about your data: company@tre-up.com. When Tre-Up becomes a company, this page will name it and the date will change.
What we collect, why, and on what basis
1. Early access list
- What: the email address you enter.
- Why: to send your invitation and important updates about Tre-Up. We do not send advertising for anyone else.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1) explicit consent). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or replying to any of our emails.
2. Pursue Signal Preview
A small study of Pursue, the AI being built inside Tre-Up, open to anyone. You take part with a code instead of your name: invited participants use the code from their invitation (for example P07); anyone else gets a random code (for example W-7K3F2), shown when they finish.
- What: your participant code; your check-in answers (energy and focus on a 1–5 scale, how much time you have and when you start, what is in the way, the one thing you want to move forward, and the smallest first step you would accept); the local time and time-zone offset of your check-in; and, if you were invited, your short feedback the next day (whether you took the step, whether the read was worth getting, whether it came in time, and how its tone felt).
- What we do not ask for: your name, email address, phone number or location. Please do not write names, health details, passwords or other sensitive information in the free-text answers. If you do, we delete them.
- Why: to research how Pursue reads a moment, to send invited participants their Pursue read, and to research whether such reads help people take a first step, so we can improve Pursue.
- Legal basis: your consent, given on the page before you send (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)). You confirm you are 18 or older.
- Coded, not anonymous: if your code reached you through a personal invitation, we can link it to you. Either way we treat these answers as personal data and never publish anything that could identify you. Research results are reported only as totals, without free text.
- How reads are written: your read may be written by an AI model following rules set by Tre-Up, or with human help. The study compares two ways of writing a read, so you may receive either one. Neither is medical or psychological advice.
3. Website server logs
- What: technical data your browser sends with every request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time.
- Why: to deliver the website and protect it against abuse.
- Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
4. Emails you send us
If you write to us, we use your message and email address to reply (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)).
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are read, where visitors come from (for example a search engine or a link), and the device type and approximate country. It also records that the early-access form came into view, was sent or showed an error, and that a Signal Preview check-in was started or sent, and on which page, never what you typed or answered. It sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) with a random identifier and does not receive your name or email. We use it only to see what works on the site (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)); advertising features are off, and we use no advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are served from our own domain. You can block it with your browser's cookie settings, a content blocker or Google's opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
Who processes your data for us
We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers below, who process it on our behalf and only for the purpose stated:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Netlify, Inc. | Hosts the website and runs the forms (server logs) | United States |
| Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.) | Keeps the early access list and delivers form submissions to us and our emails to you | United States |
| Google (Google Analytics) | Counts visits to the website | EU and United States |
| Our email provider | Receives submissions in the Tre-Up inbox | Varies |
| An AI model provider (Signal Preview only) | Writes reads from the check-in answers; never receives your name or email | Named here before first use |
We only use an AI model provider whose terms do not allow it to train its models on the answers we send. We will name it on this page before it receives any data.
Transfers abroad. These providers may process data outside Türkiye and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. We rely on their data processing terms, including standard contractual clauses where available (GDPR Art. 46; KVKK Art. 9).
We may disclose data if the law requires it, for example to answer a valid request from a court or authority.
How long we keep it
- Early access email: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If Tre-Up does not launch, we delete the list.
- Signal Preview answers: deleted no later than 90 days after the study ends. Totals without free text, which cannot identify anyone, may be kept.
- Server logs: kept by our host for a short period under its own retention settings.
- Visit statistics (Google Analytics): at most 14 months; the cookies expire after at most 2 years.
- Emails to us: as long as needed to answer, then deleted unless the law requires us to keep them.
How we protect it
All traffic uses HTTPS. The website itself stores no form data: the early access list is kept in our email service (Resend), and Signal Preview answers go straight to our inbox. Only the founder has access. We collect as little as possible, and we delete what we no longer need.
Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge, to:
- tell you whether we hold data about you, and give you a copy;
- correct it, or delete it;
- restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect earlier use);
- tell you who it was shared with.
These rights come from GDPR Articles 15–22 and KVKK Article 11. Write to company@tre-up.com; for Signal Preview answers, include your participant code. We reply within 30 days.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu, kvkk.gov.tr); in the EU or UK, the authority where you live.
Other points
- Age: the early access list and the Signal Preview are for people aged 18 or over.
- No automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made about you.
- Not medical advice: nothing on this website or in a Pursue read is medical, psychological or other professional advice.
- Changes: if this policy changes, we update the date above. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you by email or in the Signal Preview before it applies.
