## 01 Who writes these notes

Pursue Lab is the research process behind Pursue, the AI inside Tre-Up. AI research assistants do most of the searching, reading and first drafting. A separate review step checks each summary against its source. The founder of Tre-Up decides what is published. We say this plainly because you should know how a page was made before you trust it.

## 02 Which sources we use

Peer-reviewed studies, established conference papers, classic theory where it still frames the field, and primary documents such as laws, regulators' guidance and providers' technical documentation. We do not cite blog posts, press coverage or other summaries as evidence.

Every study citation is checked against its DOI or arXiv record, or the publisher's own page or a library catalogue record when neither exists. A source we cannot confirm is marked as unconfirmed rather than quietly kept.

## 03 What we read, and what we say about it

Each source page says what our summary rests on. Most rest on the abstract and the public record; when we read the full text, the page says so. We never claim more than the part we read supports.

Every summary has three parts: what the study found, where its evidence stops, and how it shapes Pursue's design. That last part is a design input, never a claim that Pursue works. Tre-Up has not yet published results of its own.

## 04 Copyright and trademarks

We write summaries in our own words and link to the original. We do not republish papers, abstracts, figures, tables or paywalled text, and we quote at most a few words where the exact wording matters.

Institutions are the authors' affiliations as printed in each publication. Where we show an institution's logo, it marks only where a study was written. Logos are the trademarks of their owners. None of these institutions is affiliated with Tre-Up, and none endorses Tre-Up or Pursue.

## 05 What these notes are not

They are not medical, psychological or legal advice, and they are not a full review of any field. Much of the evidence comes from health apps, laboratories and recommender systems; we say so where a finding may not carry over to everyday life.

## 06 Corrections

If you find a mistake, a misread finding or a wrong affiliation, email company@tre-up.com. We correct the note, change its date, and keep the correction visible.
